Was ich mir gewünscht hätte und eine Veröffentlichung gerechtfertigt hätte, wären neue Impulse gewesen. Es gibt keine besondere Regelanpassung.

Hier wären so viele neue Ideen denkbar gewesen. Zum Beispiel eine Beschränkung des Platzes zum Legen, eine besondere Punktewertung für schwierige Plättchen, wenigstens mehr Plättchen als nur 48 oder einfach andere Plättchen.

Aber: All das gibt es nicht. Es gibt nur ein abgespecktes Basisspiel mit weniger Material. Das ist deutlich zu wenig, um nicht als Geldmacherei in Kritik zu geraten.

Andererseits: Es kostet im Online-Handel derzeit ja nur ca. So bleibt ein Spiel in Blechschachtel, das ein Reisespiel sein will, aber als Spiel zu zweit völlig unnötig ist.

Das ist traurig. Carcassonne für 2 ist eine deutlich abgespeckte Variante in Blechbox des modernen Klassikers. Leider sind die Regeln mit denen des Originals identisch, sodass die Veröffentlichung ideenlos wirkt und für mich überflüssig ist.
